The Universe
contains all knowledge. Have you ever wondered how the earth knows how
to rotate on its axis, suspended in space for billions of years? Or
how your body takes its next breath without a reminder from you. As
you snuggle into bed each night you do so with complete trust that your
heart will continue to pump and your lungs will continue to breathe.
This trust is so complete that you probably never think about it. The
wisdom that keeps the body alive is such an intrinsic part of us that
we rarely contemplate or appreciate its power.
Born with
this profound wisdom already installed, it is natural to take it for
granted. We are a part of this grand mystery called life. Our bodies
are one of the endless marvels created by the supreme wisdom. In the
1960's, Dr. George Goodheart discovered that the body could be used
as a device to communicate with this wisdom directly. By testing a group
of muscles while introducing sugar to the body, Dr. Goodheart found
that tester muscles would either remain strong or would weaken. He called
this technique Applied Kinesiology, which later became known as muscle
testing.
Through
muscle testing he found that the body will tell you which foods or substances
are healthy and which ones are harmful. Harmful stimuli will create
stress and cause the body to weaken while healthy foods will make the
muscles test strong.
In the
1970's applied kinesiology was further researched in the scientific
community by Dr. John Diamond. He validated the claims that the tester
muscles would weaken in the presence of artificial sweetener and test
strong when replaced with natural sweeteners. Dr. Diamond's theory also
showed that the body would test strong when the testee would think positive
thoughts, feel positive emotions, or make a positive statement. Research
also showed that negative thoughts, emotions, or statements would cause
the testee to weaken. This new research was to become known as Behavioral
Kinesiology. You may find it interesting to know that smiles were found
to make the body strong while criticism caused the body to weaken.
Research
continued even into the 1990's when Dr. David Hawkins and Noble Prize
winner, Linus Pauling, PH.D. researched and documented theories, people,
and works of art and found that theories, persons or works of art/science
could be validated as to its truth and accuracy.
La Rue
Eppler, founder and creator of The SoulTalk® Method, developed
a unique technique that utilizes muscle testing concepts in a new and
innovative way. Rather than testing the muscle itself, our approach
uses the muscle to provide specific feedback, that the conscious mind
may not be aware of, to detect issues. The results of this approach
are immediate, consistent, reliable, and dependable. We call this new
and innovative technique Muscle Response Feedback (MRF).
Using the
body as a tool, The SoulTalk®
facilitator will propose a question or statement while applying gentle
pressure to the clients' outstretched arms. If the arms remain strong,
the answer is yes (or the statement is considered to be true). If the
response is weak, the answer is no (or the statement false). It works
similar to a lie detector.
Since the body/mind holds the memory of every event in your life, it
can be used to precisely locate painful, often forgotten memories and
limiting beliefs that keep one blocked. Using Muscle Response Feedback
to specifically identify a person's core block or issue, the issue can
be resolved in minimum time. With a client's willingness to improve,
it is not uncommon for the issue to be resolved quickly, often in just
one to three sessions. It is a common occurrence for a client to accomplish
in just a few sessions what may take years using more traditional approaches
to wellness.
Muscle
Response Feedback works because negative emotional stress
makes the muscles weaken. You may recall that when someone is about
to deliver traumatic news they will inform you to sit down first. The
bad news creates stress which is felt as weakness in the knees and has
literally caused some people to collapse.
Muscle
Response Feedback is the backbone of the process, The SoulTalk®
Method. It is used in private sessions as well as in all courses.
All classes taught have grown out of the knowledge provided by Muscle
Response Feedback.
